When someone says "God bless you" not only you are wanting the best for you, but is also acting on their behalf. For when you bless someone also attract God's favor to you. The effect of the blessing is multiplying, as it is given by God to His Children.

The power of life and death is in the Word. In blessing, life is given not only to receiving the blessing, but also the giver.
